Welcome to Project Pi: Transforming Legal Excellence
The Π -Pi project is the platform where GCA designs and organizes its training initiatives, both the insights that GCs decide to take to become better managers and lawyers, and the knowledge they want to pass on to the next generation of GCs.
At Project Pi, we are redefining the landscape of education for General Counsels (GCs), both in what we give and what we receive.
Our mission is to elevate the role of GCs through a unique blend of academia and continuous improvement.
EDUCATION GIVEN: Sharing Knowledge and Values
Being a General Counsel is an art, seldom taught, more often learned through experience. Project Pi is committed to changing this narrative. We aim to create an academic hub where GCs come together to share their invaluable knowledge and, more importantly, the principles and values that define being a GC of the General Counsels Association.
We are collaborating with high-level education providers to offer classes and master’s programs, nurturing the next generation of General Counsels.

EDUCATION RECEIVED: The Pursuit of Kaizen
At Project Pi, we understand the essence of Kaizen – the relentless pursuit of improvement. In the world of GCs, this means constantly evolving, adapting, and learning. Our commitment is to keep GCs ahead of the curve.
Project Pi organizes high-level education programs that ensure GCs are not only updated on the latest legal developments but also equipped with the broader skills required in the C-suite. Our curriculum encompasses business acumen, soft skills, and other vital areas that enhance the capabilities of a modern GC.
We have forged strategic partnerships with prominent law firms and C-level executives to curate comprehensive learning paths. These journeys are enriched with certification programs that encapsulate our vision of a General Counsel as an adept combination of a skilled attorney and a proficient manager.
First step: the GCA ESG Certificate: GCs + the best law firms, for GCs and the best law firms. No lessons given, no lessons received, just cooperative deep learning.
