What is Project Sigma?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Sigma is a collaborative endeavor, bringing together the finest and more cooperative legal minds and general counsels to create new industry standard<\/strong>s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first mission is stated: to streamline the M&A process<\/strong>, so you can focus on what truly matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 – M&A<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let lawyers be paid for their brain not for their hands, let them be engaged in what matters most, what they like most: the real thing. All the rest is standardization. A General Counsel is a Manager; standardizing is part of the job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024 we have worked with top-notch lawyers, notaries public, insurance brokers, and insurance companies and we succeeded in standardizing the most commonly-used clauses in Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA)<\/strong>, in order to eliminate the need for repetitive, time-consuming negotiations and focus on what matters most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025 – Integrated Corporate Governance<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, our goal is to standardize a core set of policies<\/strong> \u2014 covering from supply chain control, privacy, whistleblowing, conflicts of interest, corruption and criminal compliance and more \u2014 to unify governance and reduce legal redundancies<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will form a dedicated working group of legal experts, compliance officers, and managers to establish an integrated governance framework, streamline documentation, and foster a single, holistic vision of corporate governance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drawing on our experience from the 2024 M&A project, where we partnered with top professionals to work on SPA clauses, we will similarly develop easy-to-use templates, workflows and clear guidelines<\/strong> for these internal processes. This ensures everyone can focus on what truly matters\u2014making ethical, strategic decisions\u2014while maintaining strong compliance and governance across the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
